Need to Know
Booking with Wildlife Photography Africa
All our safaris are tailor made and designed in discussion with you.
We don’t want you to just fill out a form and send it to us; we want to talk to you about your safari ideas. For us it is the only way we can be sure that we have all the information necessary to design exactly the right safari for you.
Once you are happy with your itinerary, the cost of your safari will depend on the duration and standard of accommodation you have chosen.
Once all of this has been agreed, we will send you confirmation of the final itinerary and travel dates together with our invoice. At this stage the services detailed in the itinerary will be held provisionally.
We can only confirm these services when we have received your deposit payment.
Payment of the deposit is taken as confirmation that you have read and accepted our Booking Conditions (Click this link to read and/or download)

Getting there / International Flights
Because our clients come from so many different countries around the World, it is not practical for us to arrange international flights.
Wherever you are travelling from, it should be relatively straightforward to locate a company specialising in flights from your country.
Unless stated otherwise, the cost of any domestic flights required as part of your itinerary will be included in the itinerary price quoted to you.
Financial Protection – Your Peace of Mind
It is important for you to have peace of mind that any money paid to Wildlife Photography Africa in respect of a booking you make with us is secure.
Wildlife Photography Africa Ltd is bound by Regulation 16 of the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 to make certain arrangements to provide security for the refund of money paid over by consumers and for the repatriation of consumers in the event of insolvency of Wildlife Photography Africa Ltd.
Clients’ Trust Account
Regulation 16 of the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 prescribes that those arrangements include a trust as described in Regulation 20 under which all monies paid over by a consumer (the Payment) under or in contemplation of a contract for a holiday with Wildlife Photography Africa Ltd shall be held in the United Kingdom by a person as trustee for the Consumer until

In plain English
What that means in plain English is that any money paid by you to us is paid directly into a Trust Account. We cannot access that money until we have provided the services we contracted to provide. We don’t get paid until you have completed your travels with us.
If anything happens to Wildlife Photography Africa Ltd, your money is still there, held safely in trust for you.
In the modern era there are few places that can be guaranteed as absolutely safe from any risk or danger.
Your safari will take you into the African bush where the possibility of encountering wild animals must be expected.
That said, the local partners we work with are experienced in local conditions; well trained on how to avoid any unnecessary risk and how to manage any situations that might arise.
One of the great attractions of being on safari is getting away from cities and the problems they attract. Nevertheless, for your own peace of mind, we strongly advise that you check prevailing travel advice being issued by your own government before travelling.
It is a condition of travelling on a safari booked by us that you have adequate personal travel insurance in place.
This insurance must include cover for the cost of eventualities like medical treatment overseas, for emergency evacuation and for repatriation if necessary.
We are happy to recommend companies that offer excellent travel insurance policies. Please don’t hesitate to ask us.
We carry comprehensive Tour Operators Liability Insurance and we only work with camps, lodges and local partners who also have in place their own operators liability insurance.
